Our stay at The Limes Room 2 was perfect. The location in a quiet village close to York was ideal. The room was clean and nicely presented with a comfortable king-sized bed, which was a pleasant surprise since my partner and I are both tall. Despite some minor issues with the pillows and the lack of a wardrobe, these were easily overlooked. The convenience of having a designated smoking area with a place to extinguish cigarettes would have been nice, but it wasn't a major inconvenience. I would definitely stay here again.

The location was great, just a short distance from a well-known city but tucked away in a peaceful and charming village. The clean and nicely presented room was a pleasant surprise, especially with the king-sized bed that was spacious enough for my partner and me. It definitely added a touch of luxury to our romantic escape.
There were a couple of downsides to our stay. The lack of locks on both the bedroom and bathroom doors made us feel quite uncomfortable and vulnerable during our time in the hotel.

The location of this hotel is perfect, being close to a bustling city but nestled in a peaceful village. The room we stayed in was clean and nicely presented, with a spacious king-sized bed. The bathroom was also well-maintained. The owner provided good service, and the breakfast was satisfactory. Additionally, there is a covered drive where smokers can comfortably enjoy a cigarette.
The lack of locks on the bedroom and bathroom doors made us feel unsafe during our stay.

What a great Christmas getaway! the location was spot on, just a short drive away from the hustle and bustle of the city but nestled in a charming little village. the room itself was lovely, clean, and beautifully presented. And can we talk about that king-sized bed? My partner and I are both tall, so having that extra space was a dream come true. Plus, it was so cozy, making it even harder to leave in the mornings.
The pillows were a bit too thick for my liking, and it took some time to find a comfortable position for my neck. It would have also been nice to have a wardrobe or some sort of storage for our clothes, but it wasn't a major issue.
